Dekel Harari

I am a Tel Aviv-based contemporary mixed-media artist. My work explores routine, information overload, media, and the moment when everyday habits start shaping the way we think.

Newspapers are a central material in my practice, not only for their content, but for their physical presence: texture, weight, fragility, and familiarity. I cut, paint over, and reconstruct them into works that move between pop culture, daily life, and visual commentary.

Through contrast, color, and simple but sharp compositions, I invite viewers to rethink the ordinary and question the narratives surrounding them.
