Dionysia Adamopoulou

Dionysia Adamopoulou is a visual artist and writer based in Athens. Her practice explores themes of motherhood, memory, and identity through painting, mixed media, and poetry.

Since 2016, she has developed her artistic practice through sustained work and study. From 2022 onwards, she has studied drawing and painting under visual artists N. Christoforakis (2022-2025), E. Giannakopoulou, and N. Koniaris (2023-2024). She is currently studying at the Athens School of Fine Arts.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and institutions across Greece and internationally, with works held in private collections in Europe and North America. In 2024, she published "Shades of Motherhood," a collection combining poetry and visual art. Her writing has appeared in literary publications and anthologies, and she has received honorable mentions in national poetry competitions.

She is a member of the Mesogaia Visual Arts Association and the Visual Arts Association of Central Greece "SKETKE." She holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business and has attended seminars on art teaching, cultural heritage management, illustration, and art therapy.
