Densen Almeda

My drawings and renditions on paint, canvas, and installations reflect narratives about healing, interpersonal relationships, and human conditions. I'm drawn to different forms of art, blending graphic imagery with pop aesthetics. I incorporate surrealism and a naturalistic approach with a technique of superimposition. My works have received national recognition and grants, notably winning the Grand Prize at the Shell National Student’s Art Competition in 2022. Additionally, I've been a semifinalist in the Metrobank Art Competition and received grants from the NCCA Bagong Biswal for two consecutive years. Through bold symbolism and my unique style, I use forms and colors to convey
compelling narratives, illuminating the depths of my subjects.
