I usually paint nature in its quieter moments. Empty places, tracks left on the snow, solitary trees… These are the scenes I feel closest to, and the ones I return to in my work.
Watercolor is the medium where I feel most at ease. I don’t try to control it too much; sometimes I guide the paint, sometimes I let it go completely. The paintings grow slowly this way — calm, unhurried, and at their own pace.
My landscapes don’t belong to a specific place. They are more about a state of being than a location. I like leaving space for the viewer to bring their own feelings into the image.
I occasionally work with other materials, but what I want to express stays the same: slowing down, pausing for a moment, and making room for quiet.
Thank you for taking the time to look.
