Olena Diachyshyn

Olena Dyachyshyn is a Ukrainian artist born in 1996 in the town of Polapy in the Volyn region. She studied at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, where she earned a Master of Arts degree. She works primarily in painting, focusing on the exploration of light, atmosphere, and the shifting states of nature. She currently lives and works in Lviv.

Her style is distinguished by expressive, broad brushstrokes, rich color palettes, and a refined sense of space. The artist conveys the mood of the landscape through the interplay of light and color, avoiding photographic detail and emphasizing atmosphere. Her works capture the dynamics of the sky, reflections on water, and a lyrical emotional tone that combines attentiveness with expressiveness. Some compositions include still lifes, where she maintains the same painterly softness and energy. Her art presents nature as a fleeting moment, expressed through emotion, bold strokes, and a vibrant palette.

She studied at the Lviv National Academy of Arts from 2013 to 2019 in the Department of Art Glass, where she earned a Master’s degree.
