My preference for strong, deep colours reflects years living in Ghana and international travel.
I focus on still lifes, people, interiors and landscapes, scrutinising them from unexpected angles, cropping them sharply and accentuating key colours. I explore discrepancies in scale between objects and their settings, evoking curious and uncanny moods, hovering on the edge of surrealism.
Objects reflected on glass also offer inspiration by providing a source of abstract distortions.
I live and work in London.
