Dimitrios Rimpas

I was born in Athens and I am involved with painting as long as I remember my self..I especially prefer abstract expressionism art. I also love to paint landscapes from my beautiful country ,GREECE and the Greek islands as well. My Art work explores memory, emotion and the way a particular place, environment can affect the way I feel." Ι am fascinating of abstract art with expressionism shapes.
What fascinates me mainly is abstract art combined with expressionist mood. I love to paint undefined forms, structures and shapes which are presented with vivid colors full of contrasts. I believe that they bring and awaken emotions to the eyes of those who will look and will appreciate them.
For all my painting i use only top quality pure cotton canvas stretched on a solid wooden frame with kiln dried stretcher bars, Most important i only use for my paintings high qulity acrylic and oil colors ,brands like Winsor & Newton or Talens Van Gogh !!

I have studied Library Management and regarding painting I have studied at ECOLE ABC DE PARIS ( through E-Learning ).
