My work is rooted in the image of the lotus — a symbol deeply connected to Vietnamese culture and memory.
I work with lacquer and contemporary painting techniques, using layers, texture, and time to build a quiet visual language. Through this process, what is hidden gradually reveals itself, much like memory resurfacing.
I am not drawn to the strict logic of form, but to the simultaneity of emotion — where space and time dissolve into one another, and where the past and present breathe together on a single surface.
In my paintings, form, line, and contrast are not merely visual elements; they become a language of inner feeling. I observe life not through direct appearance, but through a quiet resonance within.
