Paul Di Zefalo

I graduated from Parsons School of Design where I majored in Graphic Design and Advertising. I worked in advertising, and as a graphic design art director. Later, I earned a degree from Jersey City State College in Art Education and became a public school teacher in New Jersey.

Throughout my life I have practiced fine art painting, and have been showing in public venues. I have won two Fellowship Grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. I have had solo exhibits at the Jersey City Museum, and Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Most recently I have exhibited at Jersey City Theater Center, Merseles Studios, Jersey City, NJ, Studio Montclair, Montclair, NJ, Kimmel Galleries, New York University

After a long hiatus, I've revisited abstract painting, since March of last year. I rejoyce at having had this opportunity to create paintings with abstract shapes and colors. My creations have been a way to challenge my imagination and provide entertainment for the eye and mind. My hope is that my vision of this realm will convey to others a sense of play, intrigue, and excitement as it does for me.
