This current series of collage prints explores sensations, feelings, memories and dreams with the intention of recreating a sense of wonder, shaping that which is present and available, into a meaningful narrative of transformation from the seemingly random chaos of ordinary life and parts seeking acknowledgement.

Practising an intuitive approach to collage, I attempt to deconstruct and recreate the Self. For me, it is a way of processing and coming to terms with grief, loss, separation, sexuality, and motherhood. What emerges is a sense of transformation, renewal and a deeper understanding of the threads that have led to this moment, and to the re-birth of a more integrated sense of individuality. Using the tension between mythology, allegory and found material of consumer culture and art history, I seek to honour the instinctive sacred feminine during thresholds of birth, decomposition and regeneration.
