Donal Mullins

I'm an Irish artist passionate about expressing myself through the medium of photography and painting.

I've been interested in photography since I first held a camera during childhood. I was hooked as I watched a print come to life in the darkroom. Subsequently I've moved to the digital world but nevertheless capturing and freezing a moment forever in a frame is still fascinating. That moment may reflect the contrasts and conflicts which exist in our society or the natural beauty that life offers us.

In more recent years I have also started painting, primarily abstract pieces and enjoy the absolute creative freedom painting offers and the joy of self expression as pieces come to life on the canvas as if being poured directly from my imagination.
