Arturo Duclos

I was born in Santiago de Chile in 1959, but I lived and studied in Viña del Mar at Hebrew Institute, I also attend in this early period to music, painting and meditation courses. Then I moved to Santiago to study arts.

I have got my Master in arts at Catholic University of Chile. Since mid eighties I begin to show my works in Chile and abroad. In 1992, won The John S. Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, following in 1993 and 1994 The National Arts Funds Fellowship in Santiago, also I have been appointed in 1996 for Arts & Comunication Sciences Prize, UNIACC University, Santiago and Latinamerican Art Prize Enersis, Santiago 2001.
