Dulce Maria Rivas Godoy

Born in Aguascalientes, México.

Awards and Honorific Mentions in several competitions; multiple solo shows in Mexico and abroad. Her critical texts have been published in specialized magazines and media.
She lives in Aguascalientes and works anywhere she moves.

The current work of Dulce María Rivas makes only hints. It suggests the void, delimits the space, insinuates reality. Space is the theme of her creations. Her paintings are the result of an action in which the possibilities of art are discovered; but not in the fixed, finished object, but in what happened infinitely before and in what may occur afterwards.
In her work, there is an intellectual rigor that reflects her inclination for the sciences, obeying the logic of art.
