Professionally, I am an artist and design educator.
Personally, I try to constantly evolve and evade defnition.
I mainly explore the finetuning between innocence or dumbness and intelligence in my practice as an artist and academic.
I am against taught knowledge and believe strongly in experiential learning and in a world where intelligence is less important than innocence and individuality.

My work aims to sensitize regarding equality and ideas of normalcy, voice, beauty and individuality.
My work desires to create sensitivity, respect and a more equal and beautiful world.

I am a graduate in Visual Communication Design from Srishti School of Art, Bangalore from 2010 and have 12+ years of experience working as a graphic designer and Illustrator, since. I have written and self published my own experimental graphic novel in 2009, had my work exhibited at prominent galleries of the country such as Galerie Mirchandani+Streinrucke of Bombay, worked as the illustrator and graphic designer for Down to Earth magazine and Katha Publication house briefly, worked with various organizations as a freelance graphic designer, been associated with fellowships with Sarai CSDS in Delhi, been published as an illustrator in over 20 books with publication houses such an The Aleph Book Company and Harper Collins, lectured at prominent universities of the country such as the Hyderabad University as a graphic novelist, recently completed a summer residency in illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York and continue to illustrate more shorter graphic novels on subjects that interest me.
