My name is Edward DelForno. I have been drawing and painting since I was a young child.
I later studied art at the Dutchess County Arts council, The Barrett House, and then formally at both Dutchess Community College and Suny New Paltz.
I was fortunate to have some fantastic artist as instructors.
These include Robert Benny, David Lax, Franklin Alexander and A, Leslie Ross.
I have had one man art shows at several venues.
My first show was at age 19 at the main plant of IBM in Poughkeepsie New York.
Early in my career I worked as an illustrator and commercial artist at Gannet newspapers and Parker Distributors, along with freelance work for many different companies and advertising agencies in the New York city area.
My work today is mainly as an abstract artist. My paintings are created with the intent to focus on drawing the viewer into the painting and instilling a plethora of passionate feelings.

One of my recent sales comes from James who stated " I’m not a huge art fan, but when I saw two of the paintings I had to have them, I mean immediately. Something about the paintings spoke to me in ...
I have a degree in Commercial Art. I also have a degree in Occupational Therapy.
