Edgie Amisial

Edgie Amisial (b. 1998) is a queer Haitian-American multidisciplinary artist based in NYC. Her practice spans across painting, mixed media, writing, and experimental film, centering Black femme healing, survival, and speculative transformation. Drawing from Black conjure feminism, ecofeminism, and folklore, she creates surrealist worlds that blur the boundaries between the physical and metaphysical, the natural and the supernatural.

Edgie's practice treats world-building as a radical, spiritual, and political act. Her work conjures portals into re-enchanted realities that resist colonial ideologies and reveal expansive Black queer and femme futures.
