Edi Antonella Mantovani

Edi Antonella Mantovani was born in 1971 in Quistello, a small town in the province of Mantua, Italy. Growing up in the area, she developed a strong connection to the nearby Po River and the clay and wood materials that would become an integral part of her sculpture production.

Mantovani's early passion for art was guided by sculptor Andrea Iori, and she later acquired various ceramic and painting techniques through courses and workshops at the Cova Institute in Milan. She also attended specialized courses in modeling techniques such as the pottery wheel and raku in Nove di Vicenza.

Mantovani has exhibited her sculptures and paintings in solo and group shows throughout Italy, including in Mantua, Modena, Verona, Reggio Emilia, Milan, and Bergamo. Despite her success, Mantovani remains approachable and is always willing to share her knowledge with others. She often offers courses and workshops in ceramics and encourages others to pursue their own artistic passions.
Today, Mantovani resides in the province of Milan, where she continues to create thought-provoking works of art that challenge traditional boundaries and explore new possibilities for self-expression. Her dedication to her craft and her commitment to pushing artistic boundaries make her a unique and inspiring figure in the world of contemporary art.
