Edlen Lavan

I am an artist with a background in advertising and art dealing, currently developing my own artistic practice across participatory projects, installations, performance, collage, and photography. In my work, I explore the rules of the art market in the age of excessive consumption and the identity of the contemporary woman, addressing the paradox of mass participation in art while navigating multiple roles such as artist, mother, wife, and creator, often using my own body as a tool.
