With an iconic vision for producing beautiful artwork Edward Michaels paintings, photographs and, his passion for the environment of over four decades sparked his early Documentary on the rebirth of the near extinct American Bald Eagle while creating a docu-series with the Dept of the Interior. His use of the ultra wide angle lens to create boldly graphic images of the Marathon runners while perched 690 feet atop the Verrazano Narrows Bridge are unique in their perspective, aerial photographs for Time and DuPont Corp won him critical acclaim and were part of a one man exhibit at New Yorks prestigious Nikon Gallery.
Working with LUI Magazine he used his creative skills to produce "Impressions" an in depth view of beautiful women with a look and feel of impressionistic paintings. " I love working in the studio's controlled environment where I can pre-visualize while providing a platform for models to explore their sensuality while feeling comfortable improvising in front of the camera; I encourage my subjects to jump hi and channel their inner feelings while listening to their favorite music!
In 1994 Edward aligned his passion with directing and special effects working with the creative team at Warner Brothers studios in Burbank Ca to produce their animated Christmas Production.
Edward completed his undergraduate work at CUNY and continuing his studies in architectural design..His love of the outdoors nature and the enviorrnment continue to inspire his painterly lifelike photography.
