Edwin Hollett

Edwin began painting a a young boy and growing up beside the sea he came to appreciate all things marine and the part it plays in our lives past and present. He was born in Newfoundland and moved to Nova Scotia in 1969
His passion for the ocean shows through in the marine themed pieces he has created.
He enjoys painting many other subject such as wild life and the historical scenes and the murals he has become known for. His passion for the ocean is predominant , he always returns to the sea and sailing ships.
Many years were spent working with sign lettering and design and also with the scenic art department of the movie industry. He also opened the Sea Mist Gallery featuring his work and serves on the board of the Charles Maconald House
