Frederic Greco

I work under the name EFKA9, a contemporary artist exploring the tension between urban energy and inner landscapes.
My work is rooted in abstraction, influenced by street culture, graffiti, and the raw aesthetics of post-urban environments.

Through layered textures, bold gestures, and fragmented forms, I seek to capture movement, memory, and emotional intensity. My paintings are not representations of places, but traces of experiences — mental territories where chaos and structure coexist.

Each piece is conceived as a visual exploration: an invitation to travel through color, rhythm, and matter. I am interested in the idea of painting as a space of projection, where the viewer can build their own narrative and connect with their own sensibility.

My practice stands at the crossroads of contemporary abstraction and urban art, driven by instinct, experimentation, and a constant search for authenticity.

Self-taught contemporary artist. My artistic education is rooted in growing up within a family of artists, as well as personal research, constant experimentation, and an ongoing exploration of abstraction and post-urban aesthetics.
