EJ Koh is a South Korean oil painter based in Sokcho, whose work bridges memories and spaces. She translates the aesthetic concepts developed during her years in San Francisco—merging Eastern and Western visions—into evocative, highly textured oil paintings. Koh’s signature “Memory Drawers” series uses imaginative and layered compositions to explore the boundaries between memory and nature, capturing the vivid afterimages of landscapes and childhood objects. Her practice is an intimate journey through the spatial architecture of identity.
