Before I knew what it meant to be an artist, I knew the feeling of being in an art room—the smell of paint in the air, colors scattered across tables, and the quiet concentration of someone creating something from nothing.

As a child, I spent hours watching my art teacher work in the studio. At home, I observed my older sister drawing comics and tried to recreate her drawings, often unsuccessfully, but the act of trying stayed with me. I also grew up surrounded by stories—from books, computer games, and imagination—which filled my mind with images and color.

Although I once followed a practical path into accounting, creativity continued to call me back. Art became a refuge in moments of anxiety, loneliness, and reflection.

In 2020, I began taking my art practice seriously after discovering the possibilities hidden in discarded materials. What others had thrown away began to feel like a language—objects capable of carrying memory, meaning, and transformation.

In 2025, I founded Studio Mavetland, a creative studio through which I continue to explore the expressive potential of reclaimed materials and everyday objects.
