Eka Gotsiridze

Eka Gotsiridze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated from Tbilisi State
Academy of Fine Arts with MA degree in Fashion Design. During her student
years Eka got involved in a number of projects: designed costumes for awardwinning
ballet films, "Improvisation" and "Divertissements", and participated
and got high appraisal of her work in numerous student Fashion shows in
Georgia, Russia, Estonia, Yugoslavia and Italy.
Eka didn't limit herself to design only and has also written and produced the TV
documentary "The History of Fashion of the 20-th Century" for one of the
popular TV networks.
Immediately after graduation Eka took up a position of a fashion designer for a
well-known clothing company in Georgia. She was also invited to teach a course
in fashion illustration at the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1993 Eka moved to Cyprus. Thanks to very good drawing skills she had an
opportunity to work on various creative projects, such as designing corporate
clothing styles and graphic illustration for corporate clients including the Bank
of Cyprus. She has also participated in numerous art exhibitions, presenting
her oil paintings and has done a lot of commissioned work for art collectors.
