Ekaterina Galera

Ekaterina Galera is a contemporary abstract artist based in Toulouse, France.

Her practice explores the relationship between form, material, and space through minimalist painting and mixed-media techniques. Working with charcoal, natural pigments, marble powder, and layered surfaces, she creates original abstract artworks defined by organic forms, subtle tonal variations, and tactile textures.

Her compositions investigate the balance between presence and emptiness, material density and open space. Each artwork is developed through a process of layering, sanding, and refining, allowing the physical qualities of the materials to shape the final composition.

Her work brings together contemporary minimalism, material exploration, and a restrained visual language.
