Elain Lim is a self-taught artist who uses primarily expired makeup products with acrylic modelling paste for her paintings. Transforming unused makeup into work of art is part of her contribution to reduce waste and advocate sustainability in the beauty industry. With her background as a makeup artist, fashion student and spiritual practice, she draws her inspiration from films, fashion and nature.
