Eldar Aitmatov

I work with paint as a physical material - something that resists, shifts, and doesn’t fully submit to control.
I combine direct brushwork with techniques that transfer paint onto the canvas in unpredictable ways. The work develops somewhere between intention and accident, forming fields of color and movement that are meant to be experienced rather than explained.
