ving, interpreting and feeling the world. I work primarily in acrylic on canvas, exploring the relationship between light, colour, texture and emotion.

Since 2014, I have been developing my artistic vision within the tradition of Impressionism, drawn to its ability to capture atmosphere, fleeting light and the living impression of a moment. In 2026, I began studying Hyperrealism, opening a new chapter in my practice and exploring how precise form and intricate detail can coexist with expressive, painterly freedom.

My subjects grow from the beauty of the familiar: flowers and plants, fruits, food and spices, landscapes and cats. Through these recognisable forms, I explore the extraordinary qualities hidden in everyday life—the softness of a petal, the glow of fruit, the richness of a surface, the character of a gaze or the changing atmosphere of a place.

For me, painting begins with a feeling, develops through light and colour, and finds its final expression in detail. I do not pursue realism for accuracy alone. I want to look closely enough for a detail to carry emotion—for a highlight, a texture or a subtle colour shift to evoke tenderness, tranquillity, anticipation, warmth or a sense of presence.
