I paint what I love: nature, especially the sky. I am self-taught, learning from the classical landscapes of Shishkin, Levitan, and Aivazovsky. Working primarily in oils, I strive for realistic detail and a positive, vibrant mood. I want my paintings to bring back pleasant memories or make the viewer feel as if they are standing in that very place.
