I create wall decorations. Small and big. Jewellike, abstract, expressive. I try to capture, interpret and present beauty as I see it. Materials used by me are wood, stone, leather, fabric, metal. I avoid plastic material, because I believe that what nature gives is the most beautiful. However, there are fewer and fewer natural resources on earth, and on the other hand we have at hand a wealth of sometimes no longer needed, but still beautiful things. I am absolutely convinced that old wood looks much better than new and recycled leather has its own unique history, marked by time, charm and character that new pieces lack. I rarely reach for brand new materials. I work under the slogans Upcycling art / Sustainable design / Slow fashion. I create in a conscious and responsible way. I am not afraid to quote. I give new life not only to materials but also to artistic visions. Sometimes my designs are a tribute to the great masters of 20th century art, sometimes I am fascinated by so-called primitive, naive art. The two main elements in my work are line and texture.
