Elena Mir

Elena Mir develops a multidisciplinary artistic practice that spans illustration, graphic and multimedia design, paper art, as well as research and audiovisual creation. Her work is characterized by a visual language grounded in formal simplicity, technical precision, and compositional rigor, where reduction and the use of negative space become essential expressive tools.

Alongside her artistic production, her personal practice combines illustration, papercut sculpture, installation work, and multimedia pieces, extending her research into new technologies and immaterial projection-based media, exploring their expressive potential within contemporary art.

In her academic activity, she has been involved in teaching since 2014 in different art and design institutions, and currently works as a lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia. She is also part of the Intermedia Creation Laboratory, where she researches the relationships between image, technology, and space in contemporary artistic practices.
