Esra Olmez

I live in the shadow of Kaz Dağları, one of Turkey's most mystical mountains. The ancient Greeks called these sacred lands "Mount Ida" where Zeus watched over the gods where Paris determined his fate, and where Homer immortalized legends in his epics. Mythological stories rise from these ancient lands, and as an artist, I breathe this mythological atmosphere.
My style is about transforming everyday objects into emotional symbols merging classical oil painting technique with contemporary subjects. I capture the warmth of life in coffee cups, the fragility of strength in works like 'The Armor'; each piece may appear as a still moment, but it holds a profound story within. I strive to carry the ordinary into a poetic and mystical depth by blending technical perfection with inner realism.
