Elia Debosschere

I discovered the world of ceramics from childhood by practicing modelling as well as the different clay techniques in a neighbourhood workshop.
My growing passion for this art of clay will allow me to reveal my creativity, and I have been able to practice clay modeling throughout my life in a self-taught way.
In 2014 I set myself up in SAUMUR as a professional rider. I decide to return to this creative universe driven by the desire to manipulate the clay again. Soon after I realized several series of ceramic sculptures , and also some bronzes. I’ve been modeling new pieces each year since.

Beyond the visual aspect of the representation of horses, it is essentially the pleasure of touching the clay as well as the passion for this animal that guides my inspiration.

Intuitive creation naturally directs me to the form of my works, clean, round, generous and modern
