I am Elisa Chupik, an Argentine painter specializing in urban landscapes. Through oil painting and palette knife techniques, I explore the relationship between architecture, light, and the atmosphere of the contemporary city.
My work goes beyond the representation of buildings and streets. I am interested in how we perceive and experience urban spaces, how architectural forms interact with light, and how reflections, movement, and color transform the city into an emotional landscape.
Inspired by the visual language of architecture and the dynamic rhythm of metropolitan life, I combine expressive textures, bold gestures, and vibrant colors to capture the changing character of urban environments.
Through my paintings, I invite viewers to discover the poetry within the built world and to experience familiar cities from a new perspective.
I graduated in Architecture from the National University of La Plata, Argentina, in 2007. My architectural education and professional experience in architecture and interior design have deeply shaped my artistic vision and my understanding of urban space.
Over time, painting evolved from a personal passion into my primary creative pursuit. My background in architecture continues to inform the way I observe and interpret cities, their structures, perspectives, and the interplay of light and space.
Through oil painting and palette knife techniques, I have developed a personal visual language that brings together architectural sensitivity and expressive gestures, exploring the city not only as a physical environment, but also as an emotional experience.
