Ellie Mir

Ellie Mir is an Australian painter based in Sydney. she is an architect, interior designer, and watercolourist. Painting has been her passion since her childhood. She has had years of experience of painting with different mediums such as oil, pastel, ink, acrylic. She found more sensation in watercolour from 2017 until now.

Statement
A self-taught artist, I embrace a passionate, intuitive approach to painting. Rather than subscribing to rigid techniques, I let the combination of colours and water guide my creative process.
I am still very proud of my Iranian heritage and its ancient history. Sometimes, introduce some of my culture into my artworks to draw attention to Iranian heritage.
