Elli Ioannou

Elli Ioannou is comfortable as an artist working in both the commercial and art-photography worlds. With a 17 year experience in commercial fashion photography her creative repertoire also includes: director (video & photography), photomedia content producer, mentor and educator in higher education France and Australia


Born in Cyprus, raised in Australia, Elli relocated to Paris in 2016 . An officially accredited media with Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Covering mens, womens and couture Paris fashion week.

In Paris Elli has taught fashion photography at Parsons Paris New School and is currently teaching at Paris College of Art in M.A. fashion film & photography.

Described as 'ethereal', 'sensual' and 'beautifully haunting', her photographs have been commended by luminaries such as UK publishing icon, Terry Jones (W magazine, The Face & I-D magazine) Australian designer Kit Willow (KITX) and Australian fashion editor Janice Breen-Burns

Best known for her fashion campaigns and backstage images, Elli is also carving a niche for herself in contemporary video art.
