My name is Elouarrat. I have been painting for over 40 years, entirely self-taught, rooted in the classical oil tradition. My journey began unexpectedly lying in a hospital bed, I saw a bird and drew it immediately with a precision that surprised even myself. That was the moment I understood what I was.
My work is dedicated to the objects and textures of Moroccan cultural heritage the silver teapots that have served a thousand guests, the koummya daggers carried by horsemen across centuries, the zellige patterns built tile by tile by forgotten craftsmen. I paint what I love. I love what survives.
Every painting is an original oil on canvas, hand signed, created in Morocco and shipped worldwide.
