My paintings come from a belief in the value of quiet moments — in being present, looking closely, and finding something meaningful in what might easily be passed by.

I paint calm, harmonious scenes with a sense of ease. I work carefully with composition, where relationships between colours, the gesture of a hand, flowers, shapes and small details can hold the whole feeling of a painting.

Natural elements are part of the same visual language. They are familiar parts of everyday surroundings that can help us feel more present and grateful.

When I paint, I imagine the work living beyond the image itself and becoming part of its environment. I want my paintings to bring calm and presence into a space, to be something you can continue noticing over time, and something that can help you feel more at ease, kinder, calmer and more in harmony with your surroundings.

For me, painting is a way of giving more space to the quiet, beautiful and often very simple moments that make everyday life feel richer.
