I love painting as a process of researching my impressions and thoughts, particularly in relation to landscape. I try to modify landscape in an abstract way to enhance its hidden harmonies and to symbolize a possibility for a deeper spiritual view available to us human beings. As a yoga practitioner, I care about the feelings of my viewers, so that the painting should be decorative and uplifting for you, not depressive or alienating, and that you would experience the same good feelings viewing it as I had while painting it.
