Emy-Rose Oz is a French abstract artist whose work is held in private collections internationally. Born in 1988, she lives and works in Lyon, France.
Her practice is rooted in intuitive abstraction, where movement, sensation, and memory shape the composition rather than predetermined forms. Painting becomes a visual language through which inner landscapes, emotional resonances, and fleeting perceptions are translated into color, gesture, and luminous layers.
Working primarily with mixed media, she develops each composition through spontaneous marks, transparency, texture, and fluid movement, allowing the work to emerge organically. Rather than depicting physical places, her paintings evoke psychological and sensory landscapes, inviting viewers to inhabit spaces of contemplation rather than narrative.
Her ongoing series, Visual Poems, embodies this philosophy. Each work functions as an open visual field where meaning is never imposed but gradually discovered through personal perception and emotional experience.

Self-taught in painting, Emy-Rose is intellectually grounded in the human sciences. She studied social sciences, with a focus on sociology and psychology, at the University of London and Université Lumière Lyon II
A background that continues to inform the psychological depth of her work.
Her paintings have been exhibited in various international settings, including a notable showcase in Monaco, where her emotionally resonant style received acclaim.
