Process driven, intervention and appropriation run through his work, the choices made during the making are as important as the work created. Subsequently his practice can lead to working in paint, print, projection, multi-media and sculpture. An award-winning advocate of art, heritage, culture and tourism, he has managed and developed hundreds of cultural visitor attractions across England throughout his career. Born in Leicester he has lived and worked in Nottingham, Birmingham, Northampton, Bristol, London, Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Farnham and Hinckley; he now lives and works back in the city of Leicester managing the flagship New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, curating the annual L.O.V.E. Art the Leicester Open Variant Exhibition and making and exhibiting his art from the exciting artist studios at StudionAme.
