My mixed media paintings explore how we navigate truth, freedom, and complicity in a culture saturated with screens, headlines, and noise. Blending graffiti, text, and abstract figuration, I use jester hats, glowing phones, urban walls, and recurring phrases to examine social media addiction, misinformation, immigration, and the stories we tell ourselves about who belongs. Humor and bright color pull you in; layered textures and contradictions keep you looking. I want the work to feel like an urban wall of posters and graffiti—funny, unsettling, and impossible to ignore. Sharon is the creator of several commercially successful home décor lines and is a nationally licensed artist with currently two lines of giftware on the market.
