My creative practice thrives on layering color, irregular shapes, and patterns, utilizing negative space and three-dimensional techniques. By disrupting boundaries and shifting perspectives, I draw the viewer into immersive works on various surfaces. I see my work as contemporary, expressive, and energetic. Escaping the constraints of traditional canvas and brush, I build multilayered pieces with unique forms. Color, pattern, and shape become a motivating force, creating a wholeness where foreground, middle ground, and background merge on a three-dimensional plane. Living in a world of information overflow and virtual reality, my work seeks to provide a different way of seeing. It's a balance to the "schizophrenia of Western civilization," the constant pandemonium that weighs us down. As Joan Jonas said, "The concept of abstraction does not fit my thinking...because I do not deduce things from what I can see." My work is about experiencing, not just observing.
