THE OUTER LIMITS Painting

Bob has been involved in art since he was in elementary school doing artwork for the classrooms. He continued his interest in art and received a degree in Art Education and then a MA Degree from Youngstown State University. He taught art for 30 years to high school students in Warren, Ohio and then went to teach art to inmates of a prison for 10 years. He has exhibited and sold artworks all through the North Eastern United States. He has received various awards such as one from the Trumbull Art Guild. The Lakewood Arts Council and first place in a National Commendation in Washington D.C. He paints in the manner of The Great Masters of Abstract Expressionist Action Painters; such as: William DeKooning, Franz Kline and Jackson Pollock but has developed his own styles of Action Painting with his own form of Expressionism. All paintings are one-of-a-kind originals signed by the artist and my work is in collections in the United States and abroad. Asian art and their calligraphy are also inspirations in my work.
