Pedro Meier – Multimedia Artist - short curriculum vitae - The Multimedia Artist Pedro Meier (1941) grew up in Switzerland (Niederbipp). Literature and Art studies in Neuchâtel, Berne and Zurich. Pedro Meier worked as a bookseller and librarian in Solothurn and Zurich Switzerland. Own store for old rare antique books in Zurich, Switzerland. Pedro Meier lived in Bangkok Thailand for many years. As an artist nomad extensive world travel - South Sea - Amazon - with the Transsiberian Express from Europe through Russia to Japan - crosses Greenland and Iceland - Australia - the Sahara - visits Patagonia - crosses the Gobi desert. Solo museum exhibitions in Switzerland (Grenchen, Olten, Zofingen etc.) and Museum of Modern Art Bangkok. Pedro Meier has been commuting between his studios in Europe and Asia for more than 40 years.
