An explorer by passion, and a designer by profession, Pallav’s journey revolves around the mediums of photography and graphic searching in order to express his cognitive framework. Touched by a Zen soul mentor, he was introduced to resist dyeing technique, popularly known as Shibori, which opened a whole new dimension for him to traverse. Shibori acted as a midway to help him bring his passion and profession in a beautiful sync with each other, so much so that he furthermore created signature techniques of his own. Origami to Pallav is not just about folding square sheets of paper, but more about every crease signify- ing a moment in time. Profound memories create longer creases, while first kisses, boundless dancing, and life lessons create overlapping folds. He uses this craft to create artworks, which is as unique as feathering a child. Sometimes the child comes out looking handsome like you, whereas on some days, it looks like your neighbour and you have no idea what to make of it. He believes in a life that is content with small means, seeks elegance more than luxury and this is what inspires him to visit and work with local artisans for a few months every year to help them have a better life by creating livelihood for them.
