ISLAS 3 Sculpture

Actualmente, mi proceso creativo se nutre de la búsqueda constante de armonía entre lo real y lo imaginario, entre lo tangible y lo abstracto. Exploro ese punto de encuentro donde la observación del mundo exterior se entrelaza con una mirada interior, más intuitiva y poética, generando un diálogo sincero entre la literalidad del modelo y mi propia visión transformadora. Aspiro a construir una obra ecléctica, donde confluyan elementos diversos —formas orgánicas y geométricas, colores planos y saturados, junto a fragmentos de tratamiento figurativo— todos ellos vinculados por una sensibilidad formal de raíz clásica. Esta convivencia de contrastes está guiada por un deseo de revelar cierta belleza esencial, una verdad visual que trascienda lo evidente. Influenciado por corrientes como el pop art, el suprematismo o la abstracción, concibo la pintura como un acto de conexión: una forma de reconciliar opuestos y abrir espacios para lo inesperado, lo simbólico y lo luminoso. En última instancia, mi obra aspira a ser un reflejo de esa energía vital que impulsa toda creación. Currently, my creative process is nourished by a constant search for harmony between the real and the imaginary, the tangible and the abstract. I explore that meeting point where the observation of the external world intertwines with a more intuitive and poetic inner gaze, generating a sincere dialogue between the literalness of the model and my own transformative vision. I aim to construct an eclectic body of work, where diverse elements—organic and geometric forms, flat and saturated colors, alongside passages of figurative treatment—coexist, all bound together by a formal sensibility rooted in classical tradition. This coexistence of contrasts is guided by a desire to reveal a kind of essential beauty, a visual truth that transcends the obvious. Influenced by movements such as Pop Art, Suprematism, and Abstraction, I conceive painting as an act of connection: a way to reconcile opposites and open space for the unexpected, the symbolic, and the luminous. Ultimately, my work aspires to reflect that vital energy that drives all creation.
