David Sims is a world-renowned British photographer who has been shooting since the early 90s. He began his photographic career assisting Robert Erdmann and Norman Watson. In 1994, he was awarded the Young Fashion Photographer of the Year award by the Festival de la Mode and held his first exhibition in London. Sims has since has photographed for W magazine, American Vogue, The Face, i-D, L'Uomo Vogue, Arena Homme Plus, Vogue Homme International and French Vogue. His advertising clients have included Helmut Lang, Yohji Yamamoto, Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Dior, Alexander McQueen and Prada. Sims work now appears in the permanent collections at the Tate Modern and the Victoria & Albert museum
