【Biography】 Kaori SAKAGUCHI, based in Fukuoka City, is an internationally acclaimed artist. Growing up with a father whose hobbies included ceramics, oil painting, and photography, art was always a part of her environment. However, Kaori herself was more interested in appreciating art and foreign cultures rather than creating it. She especially enjoyed visiting museums in cities like Paris, which naturally laid the foundation for her own artistic journey. In 2018, a pivotal moment came when she volunteered at an event in India, where she participated in a henna tattoo booth. This experience enriched her soul and opened the door to her passion for art. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, she began to create art in earnest, establishing her unique style. Kaori SAKAGUCHI's works are characterized by delicate lines and vibrant yet elegant colors, capturing fleeting moments of the heart, and expressing deep emotions and social phenomena, with "kawaii" as a trigger. Her works have been showcased in numerous significant exhibitions and have received several awards, earning her international recognition.
