Delicacy that speaks of resilience. This phlox was painted from life in the height of summer — when the sun is generous and the air carries the scent of the steppe. Viktoriia is a member of the Association of British Botanical Artists (ABBA) and the Ukrainian Society of Botanical Artists (SUBA). Her works have been showcased at both local and international exhibitions, captivating the attention of classical art connoisseurs and modern seekers of deeper meaning alike. In her creative practice, Viktoriia pauses to capture the world in its delicate beauty and profound essence. Through her art, she explores the connection between the plant world, the human psyche, and the neuroplasticity of the mind—its capacity to adapt, renew, and be reborn. Nature is her constant source of inspiration: a fragile flower breaking through asphalt, an autumn leaf clinging to a branch, the intricate veins of a petal. Viktoriia strives to convey not only beauty, but the deeper processes that shape it—resilience, transformation, and inner harmony. Her paintings often carry a contemplative and meditative quality, becoming a study of form, color, and rhythm in nature. At other times, they take on a symbolic dimension, reflecting the paradoxes of existence: blooming and decay, light and shadow, fragility and strength. Yet a common thread unites all her works—a deep reverence for the moment, for life itself, and for the capacity of both nature and humanity to flourish despite all challenges. Viktoriia believes that the world is beautiful and impartial. It exists beyond human will, untouched by our choices. But within it, we decide who we become—destroyers or creators, those who wither or those who reach for the light.
